Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of leadership style and job satisfaction on employee motivation of PT Telkomsel Head Office. Problems identified include absenteeism without explanation and employees who attended less than 8 (eight) hours a day percentage is still quite high. The independent variable in this study is leadership style, the second independent variable or commonly called moderator variable is job satisfaction, while the dependent variable is employee motivation. Data collection method used is through literature study, observation and questionnaires. The study was conducted in PT Telkomsel Head Office Jakarta, with a population of 1,960 people. Samples taken by Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%, then the number of samples obtained 332 people. The method of analysis used in this study were multiple linear regression. The results showed leadership style and job satisfaction together (simultaneously) positive and significant influence on employee motivation. Partially leadership style and job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee motivation. Job satisfaction has a higher impact on employee motivation than the leadership style.
